Title: Questions about tagging

This may seem like a silly question, but when I use the 'Update tags (from Library)' function, is MC10 saving those as IDv1, IDv2 or both ?  Also, is there anyway to choose between these three options ?

Also, I don't believe it's storing the lyrics of the songs within the tags, despite lyrics being checked for 'store in file tags.'  I checked the tags in another program, and it didn't find them.  Might I be doing something wrong ?

In Tools/Plug-in Manger/Input/MP3 Plugin/Configure, you can specify which ID3 tags MC is saving.

Thanks Rob.  That worked out great, and I've eliminated all the ID3v1 tags from my library.  However, now I've got two more questions.

I seem to find in the MOOD tag a number of single letter entries, often 'a.'  I don't recall putting them there, but I've removed them quite a few times and they seem to reappear.  Any fixes for this ?

Also, I'm still having trouble getting MC to write the Month and Day into the tags so that they can be retreived from the song tag, not the library.  If I update the tags from the library, then update the library from the tags, I lose the month and day once again.
