4. Fixed: When MC warned about a CD burn that was over the disc capacity, cancelling the burn could lead to a crash.
Does that mean that overburning is allowed?

Bug:
1. Favorites click does not auto-expand destined folder in My Computer if Auto Expand Tree enabled. Incosistant/bugged implementation of Auto Expand Tree (I guess).

Not sure what the culprit is as I've just updated my system, but I've consistently had crashes while converting from APE to MP3 using the lame VBR plug-in. I usually batch 20 or more albums for runing over night, and when I look at it in the moring MC has hung or crashed and some of the files have not been converted. I caught it as it happened this time. The process went on for over an hour before giving up and the crash was lame (in more ways than one).

I love the "ignore articles" feature. I also use the keyboard to navigate through the Artists list by first letter. I wish the keyboard navigation would also ignore articles: when I press T it would select Talking Heads, not the next artist that starts with "The." (Of course, pressing A does not necessarily get you to the top of the list either.)
Thanks!

Same two as last build:
1. Explorer integration is broken and has been for a LOOOONG time.
2. Theatre View shows Full screen display bars which are unneccessary and confusing to new users...

Help - big problems with 60. I tried to install it but it hung during the installation process at the point of trying to install MC program files. I then tried to go back to the previous version, but got the same hang-up. After trying a few older releases with the same result, I tried to uninstall but that hung up as well. So, now I don't have any MC at all and haven't a clue where to go from here. Any help greatly appreciated as I've got the family coming up for the weekend......hheeellllppppp !!!!!
Win98SE and can't remember the rest........

* When launching a TV Channel in Theater Mode with Space Bar, it doesn't launch the selected TV Channel but takes the first one in the list.
* Could we have the recording options and DVD controls in Theater Mode in a more obvious place then in Playing Now/Display Options/... ?
And/Or have MC Commands for these actions

JollyJim,
This behavior sounds all-too-familiar as I had Win98SE at one time.
I don't know the technicalities but it seems that Win98 corrupts itself over time and needs to be periodically reinstalled. You can do that without erasing your hard drive but if you can arrange it, that would be the best.
Either way, you would have to re-install all of your applications even if they still resided on the disk. The non-"clean install", the one where you replace only the operating system and don't erase files, is called for if you can't back up your files somewhere else.
Understand, please, that I don't KNOW that this is your problem but I do know that I have had that problem and a reinstall (I've done it both ways) fixes it.
I hope, I hope.
