Title: Tagging/Accessing image problem

Hey hey,

I use MC for my pictures.  It usually works great but now I'm having a problem: I cannot view the image files by Genre.

I've tagged all the files, renamed files from tags but I can no longer access images via MC features (genre).  The images are on my HD, and when I access them by disc location on MC, the tag info is correct.  I.e., genre info for images appears with ALT + Enter (viewing by disk location) but I CAN'T ACCESS images by using MC tags -- Image - Genre etc.

Also, if I have 50 picts tagged as "Beach" (I can see them on disk location) only one image in this directory appears in MC Genre (while there reamins 50 in disk location).

I deleted the files from MC and reimported from C: -- same problem

Change the view by hitting ctrl-u.  It's the list view.

That straightened the whole thing out!  Thx!

Let me ask another quick one: Is there a way to prevent certain picts from appearing when I launch MC?  When I got to Images - Genre, before I designate a specific genre ALL the images (xxx included) comes up.  Is there a way to prevent certain images from being displayed?
