I have no problem on mediacenter 9.1.316 to get correct info from YADB when inserting a CD.
But I NEVER get any result when trying to update incomplete MP3 tags from library with option library tools/lookup track info from YADB
Is this option working correctly or there is a trick?
This option is working fine on MusicMatchJuke box/Windows Media Player and is quiet essential for larges MP3 library. But I like Media center much more!

the database for MP3 fingerprinting is very small, it is not the same database for cd's
More people that use the software need to submit data to the YADB fingerprinting for this option to work better.
if you go to www.yadb.com i think it will give you the stats

I don't have much trouble from YADB. The songs that aren't listed, I dutifully type in the info and add to the DB. What I would like to see is the ability to look up a ripped (#1) CD as you would a recorded album (#2). I.E., Type in the Artist and Album and get Tracklist. Sometimes #2 works and #1 doesn't.

My Norah Jones math isn't working.

I'm all for submitting track info to YADB. I'm somewhat compulsive when it comes to tagging. Is there anything I'd have to check first, or can I just submit any track with correct tags? What tags get captured?

It Is Easy To Send Tags To YADB's Digital Finger Print Database
I And Others Hope That The Getting Tags Will Improve In The Future.
You Basicly Have No Control Over What Fields Get Filled In, And You Can Not Approve Each Set Of Tags.

No kidding. Thank goodness for Undo! How does the database get "fixed?" If more than one person submit tag info, who wins? I love the idea. I just wish it was a little more predicable.
