Title: hauppauge pvr usb 2

I'm having a hell of a time getting my new hauppauge pvr usb 2 (model hau 941) working with any of the major Media Center programs - including JRiver (my favorite).

Any suggestions?  It works fine with hauppauge software.  The media programs just dont show any video or audio.  In JRiver I get a "Failed to play TV (unknown error)" message :(

any tips much appreciated...

I'm getting the same problem with my ATI card.  Seems to work with .57 and before but not the newer releases. Have you tried the earlier release?  What version of windows are you using?

What happens when you try to play it in MC? Do you get any error messages?

Some Hauppauge devices are not yet supported in MC. They include WinTV PVR 250/350. Your device may be another one of those.
