Title: Grid Lines

I check show grid lines in options but they never show up. Version 8 :P

and what version of MJ8 do you happen to have?

Some Video cards have a problem with this back when MJ8 was new.

I think some of this problem was resolved in MC9 a year ago

I have version 8.0.400 nVidia Ge force fx5200 128MB DDR 8X AGP Video Graphics. Pentium 4 2.4 GHz. Asus P4S800 Motherboard

It worked for me when I used MJ8.
