Title: How do they do it?
Post by: JustinChase on February 11, 2004, 05:13:41 pm: I've often wondered, how do Jim & Matt get any real work done. I kinda monitor the boards pretty much every day, and that takes an hour or 2. They reply and post continuously every day and night. And that's only in the posts that I read, which is certainly not all of them. They cannot have time to do anything else in a day.

Do you suppose that these boards are their actual job, and anything else they can contribute to J River is just gravy?

I was under the impression that Jim was the President or CEO of J River, or at least 'the boss'. I can't remember WHY I thought that, maybe it's just how he always seems to be able to speak to the future of J River, I don't know.

Anyway, I'm quite impressed with their ability to respont so quickly to problems/requests/questions.

Wow, from the looks of his picture, Jim must've been about 2 yrs. old when he started his career.

They are obviously good at multitasking. The saying is true, that "If you want something done, ask a busy person to do it". I envy them for having that kind of job. (I used to have one that was half as good. I complained at the time--then I got laid off, and now I'd kill to have it back.)
