Hi all:
After moving my entire audio file collection to a new external drive, I created a new library from it since I couldn't seem to update the old one properly by creating a new path. Now, in the organization tree, I have no breakdown by artist or album. I just have one large list of songs.
Is there any way to recreate the artist and album breakdown in the organization tree?
Thanks

Just a follow up..
Since writing the above I have tried to cure the problem using just about all of the library tools in various fashions. Perhaps I'm using the tools wrong, but I've read through the help files covering the tools and still can't get anything to show up under artist/album or any other subcategories of audio other than disk location. In that case, all the files are in the same location, btw. :(

If you have tagged files, you can do "Update From Tags"
Otherwise, use "Fill Properties From Filename"
If you expect the tree to expand, make sure you turn on "Populate tree" for the view scheme.

not sure what you mean by one long list but if all the files were moved into one folder.
how about using Rename?
you can have media center move it to Artist\Album folders
