Title: Library a mess

Ok here is what happened I got a new PC.  I backed up my library, copied the mp3's over to the new pc restored the library and set all the paths to my music etc.  Now everything is a mess.  I have some duplacate names and songs, I try to delete I get an error.  Tags were not correct.  I tried to sinc my ipod and it didn't sync correct there is like 3 playlisits there.

How do I go about fixing this?  When I change/update a tag it should change it on the source correct?  Why were so many screwed up?  It is kind of annoying I had all my stuff the way I wanted it now I have a big mess.

Just clear the library and re-import.

The trouble is I added stuff, but is that the way to do it.  Did I do it right import library then set the paths.
