Title: NEW PC

I just purchased a new laptop and transferred my music library. I then reloaded MJ 8.0 but now I'm having trouble reloading the license file. I've read the FAQ, and I've also tried both methods of reloading the license file (file or internet). Does the license file have to be in a specific place for MJ to find it.

If you've used the alternate method to save your license (right click on Registration Code), you can click on it from Windows Explorer and MJ should then install it.

I apologize, but I'm confused by what you mean by "alternate method for saving the license file"

Did you originally purchase version 7, and then use that license for version 8?
Or did you purchase version 8?
