Since the change to the album analyzer, this album doesn't show anymore as "(Multiple Artists)" even if it's a complete album... My bet would be that MC is considering every track as a single artist incomplete album before analyzing them to see if it's part of a mix album....
Album Artist (auto) | Date (year) | Album | Track | Name | Artist |
Thievery Corporation | 2001 | Chillout Excellence | 1 | 2001 Spliff Odyssey | Thievery Corporation |
Hazy Roomz | 2001 | Chillout Excellence | 2 | Herbal Essence | Hazy Roomz |
Tears of a Prophet | 2001 | Chillout Excellence | 3 | Follow Me | Tears of a Prophet |
Lemongrass | 2001 | Chillout Excellence | 4 | Journey to a Star | Lemongrass |
Blue Tonic World | 2001 | Chillout Excellence | 5 | Visions of Mother Asia | Blue Tonic World |
...
I can confirm that none of the Multiple Artists Albums are being recognized as such since the change in Album Analyzer. This just screws up the Genre\Album Artist(auto)\Album view so horribly that I could not live with it.
I reverted to 10.0.70. Could you please fix this?
thanks,
Osho

If you don't keep albums in their own directories, it may not detect (Multiple Artist) albums.

I have had 10.0.72 and now .73 now see previously complete albums as either Single Artist (Incomplete) or Multiple Artist (Incomplete) even if all the files are in the same directory.
I also have seem to be generating duplicates when I do broad scale tagging changes to an album and do a rename files from tags. I end up with the original file plus the new files. Very disconcerting. Anyone seen this?

If there are files from more than one album in a directory, MC will never label it as (Multiple Artists).
This is done to avoid false positives. Use "Rename From Info" to clean up your directory structure if you need.
