Hi guys.
Was just wondering if anyone could shed some light on this for me: I have a broadband connection - 512K and yes its pretty good - but the fastest download speed I ever get on one file is 61 Kbps .... ok its wonderful compared to dial-up but should I not be ripping along a bit quicker than that??
cheers
ad.
PS: sorry if I'm depressing any 56Kers out there or god forbid any 36.6es ..... or no way please please please no 28.8s ..... 14.4s!!??

I get ~60 to 70 KB/s out of 640/640 DSL. Broadband is expressed in kiloBITS per second, where as Windows shows kiloBYTES per second...take that 61 * 8 and you get 488 kb/s which is very good.
