Title: upgrading from MJ8 to MC 9.0

Is there a way for someone to upgrade from MJ8 to MC 9.0 ?

A friend of mine has MJ8, has tried MC 9.1, and has played with my MC 9.0. He really prefers the 9.0. As it is not availble on the J River download site, could he use my 9.0 exe file (on disc) and somehow pay for the upgrade. Maybe upgrade to 9.1 and then uninstall 9.1 and install 9.0 from my disc? Will his key code for a purchased upgrade to 9.1 work for 9.0?

I think the answer to this is yes.  When I changed from 9.0 to 9.1 it wasn't classed as an upgrade - I kept the same key.  He'll need to know that it's not a supported product anymore so if he comes into problems and posts here JRiver will no doubt recommend he upgrades to 9.1.317.

If it were me and I was forking out for an upgrade I would go for 10.  It's a much improved application.
