I have dvds with mp3 music on them.
I put one in and do a search and get them into
media center. but when I try to play them a window
comes up and says music not found.
What am I doing wrong?
-
What happens if you put a disc in and try to play it directly from the CD drive icon in the tree?
Also, make sure you're using the latest version of MC 9 or MC 10.
-
I have 9.1 installed and it seems to be correct.
I had burned alot of mp3 to several disks and I put them in
the drive and clicked on import files. That worked and when I
try to play one a window opens up and says
The volume labeled IPOD_music was not found
Would you like to try again.
The name of the disk that I burned my mp3 is name IPOD music
I thought that when I import files that they go into media center
and then I could do as i want?
-
You still have the disc Ipod music in your cd drive...... right???
(Please say yes)
If you answered no, then your problem is easy to solve. Put the CD in.
-
It works with the cd in but I thought that when I imported the files
off of the cd they went into the media library.
-
Importing just tells MC where the files are.
You'll have to copy the files to your hard drive if you don't want to insert the discs.
