Since two days I own a iHP-140 from iRiver (no to be confused with JRiver). ;D
The device itself is cool and works fine. I just don't know how to use it properly with MC. I've gone through the helpfile and searched the forum, no answer. ?
The device appears as a disk in MC but not as a handheld device. I can copy files to it and convert them to OGG but its a manual operation. I must be doing something wrong here. :-\ (MC10.0.75)
- Why is the iHP-140 not shown in the handheld section.
- Why is my card reader shown in the handheld section.
- What and why is "Nero fast CD burn plug-in" in the handheld section.
Who knows the answers to these, probably, easy questions!

MarSies,
You mentioned in your instant message that your player is detected as a fixed drive. Disable WMDM support, and then change the volume label on your player to 'JUKEBOX' and you should see it listed under CD, DVD and Handhelds. If you tell me what the default volume label is for your player, I can add it to be automatically detected by MC.
Your card reader, if detected as a removable drive, will be displayed under CD, DVD and Handhelds. If the Nero fast CD plugin behaves like a Removable Drive, it also will appear here.

Marsies,
thank you for asking this. I already gave up, but
now MC finds my Archos Jukebox.
I just missed that i have to change the label of the Jukebox. MC saw it as a harddrive.
Thanks again, Uwe

Uwe,
What is the default volume label for your Archos so I can add it to the autodetection of MC?
Thanks,
Steve

the Volume Label was empty...

Thanks Steve, :D
I changed the name to "JUKEBOX" and disabled WMDM support. The iHP-140 is now shown in the AW.
I thought that the default volume was "iHP-100". That's the name of the drver that is used for this series of harddrive players.
Also the Nero plug-in disappeared and the card reader slots without an inserted memorycard.
I sure would like to see iHP-140 instead of JUKEBOX throughout MC. Not a driveletter to transfer files to but the name and picture/icon of the handheld. Maybe for MC10?
Just tried to transfer but I got an errorcode, saying "nsupported file type".
Will try some more 2moro!
