I've talked to two camps of people. Those who use streaming medial, and those that don't even want to. I'd appreciate your input in this most unofficial survey, so I can better understand this polarization.

You need a fifth choice...

I guess broadband is Highspeed?
I have a 3mb down connection and listen to the MMJB radio... (It's about the only thing MC doesn't have)
-
Cable modem here and I use Rhapsody all the time.
It would be cool if MC could somehow hook into Rhapsody's UPnP server, though I don't know what kind of control that ould offer...

Have broadband, don't use streaming media. I've spent a small fortune on my music collection, so that's what I listen to when I do listen to music.

I have 128kbps downstream here in New Zealand, which is pretty much the "standard" home broadband speed here, although there are wireless providers in the main cities that provide up to 5mbits via the local Vodafone network.
Anyway, as for web media, I'd much rather use my bandwidth for something more useful :)

I just got broadband for home in addition to my T1 line at work. I'm a big indie rock fan and hook into 3WK's stream. Then, when I hear something that rocks, I'll go and get the CD. Sure beats the old way of crossing my fingers and buying ;D
