I have a smartlist that basically asks for all Neil Young music. I have "Neil Young" and "Neil Young & Crazy Horse" as two separate Artists. The smartlist works no problem.
But here is my wrinkle:
How do I add only the Neil Young songs from the Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young albums? Adding CSNY as an artist and then excluding all of the other songs is a pain.
The only other thought I came up with was using Artist and Album Artist. Is that what the difference in those titles is supposed to mean (example would be that a Movie soundtrack's Album Artist would be "Assorted" but each song would have it's own "Artist?"
If this is true, is there a way for me to automatically have all of what I have labeled as "Artist" be copied to "Album Artist" so I can do this easily?
Thanks.

err... Instead of creating a smartist that includes the artist Neil Young + Neil Young & Crazy Horse create a smartlist that includes the albums 'Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young'. If that sounds too obvious maybe I don't understand your question.

Save messing with tags just add all the Crosby Stills Nash & Young songs into a playlist and then add that playlist into your smart list decleration...
so the smartlist would be if Artist = Neil Young and if Artist = Neil Young & Crazy Horse and playlist = "neil youngs songs with CSN & Y"
