Title: Internet Explorer version too old...huh?
Post by: Djon on February 26, 2004, 06:47:00 am
When trying to install 9.1.316 the installer tells me that I need at least Internet Explorer 5.5 and it cannot continue. I have IE 6.something on WinXP Pro. What am I supposed to do?

Try downloading again with IE.  Maybe the download is corrupted.

Try build 317 here on Interact.

If it still doesn't work, it is fixed for sure in MC 10.

A workaround is to change your system locale to "English (US)" during the install.

317 does not work either. My locale is already English US.

I'm pretty sure it is fixed in MC 10.  Would you mind trying? (it's at the top of this board)

Please let us know what you find, and sorry for the hassles.
