Upgraded from Windows 98 to XP. Reinstalled MJ, now it won't restore the license. I have used up two restores, no success. Disabled ZoneAlarm Pro & Panda, no success. Tried to save/open from HD AND download from Internet, no success. What else could be the problem??

Did you try the FAQ here?
www.mediajukebox.com/license
You should not need to use a restore. Just try the license file that gets e-mailed to you. There is also a work-around for saving the license file from the restore page. It's in the FAQ.

Still did not work. Keep getting "Failed to restore license" message. Need some help here, please??? :'(

It may be Monday before we can help much. In the meantime, you should have a 30 day trial.

I tried uninstalling..... :'( Still no luck. I'm beginning to lose faith in MJ.
I am behing a firewall, which I shut off when trying to restore. Please do whatever you did for bpoteet since they seemed to have the same problem. Also, I've wasted at least 4 restores trying to fix this. Will those be credited back to my license?

Synchronized it last night. Does the MJ license contain spyware that would cause Spybot S&D to block it?
-
No spyware.
When you do a restore, the license should be automatically installed (and the spyware tool might block that, or lots of things might). You should also get a browser with a link you can click on. Did you try that? And you should also get a license in your e-mail as an attachment. Does that fail as well?

Guess what? I went into ZoneAlarm Pro's Component controls and unchecked boxes beside Advanced Component Controls and opened MJ---the license was registered. Thanks for your help! ;D
