Hello,
At regular intervals, the message :
'please wait saving database...'
Appears in the middle of the screen for about 2-10 seconds (even if no music is being played !)
Which interrupts whatever I am doing...
Can you please get rid of this message ?
If this is not possible, can you then at least not show it if MC is minimized into the system tray ?
(also, during this 2-10 seconds, MC doesn't respond to play/etc. buttons )
Regards,
Marcel Houweling

it happens less often on mc10, it is however a pain.

Without the message, the program would appear to be frozen.
It only happens on very large databases.
We plan to improve this in the next version.

Yeah, I understand that, but can't you then at least not show it if MC is minimized into the system tray ?
that would help a lot !

ive recently started to get this message too. ive had the same number of files (20,000 odd) for 6 months and have only recently started seeing it pop up all the time. It used to occur only when i made big changes, but now it pops up in the middle of any old song.
Could it be the amount of lyric/chart/bio etc data ive downloaded into the system?
or
is it due to the more recent beta im using?
thanks

Yes, This Increses The Size of The Database, And Since A Small Change Will Re-Save The Database, There You Go.

okay understood, but there are also times when im not actively using mc, just playing music and the message still pops up - any idea what causes this?

They Are Updating The Recently Played Data, This Info Is Saved To The Database.
