Title: 10.78 freezes, install 10.80 crashes

Lately, MC 10.78 has been freezing upon opening.  It seems to load, but the hourglass never goes away and MC does not respond.  I have to close it via the 3 fingered salute.

Trying to install 10.80, it crashes with the following message:

There are 2 bars displayed along the progress bar under this window.  After clicking "OK", I have to close the install program with the close button.

Any ideas on what is going on?  I recently installed McAfee Internet Security 6.0 and I am wondering if this has any thing to do with this?

You may have a corrupt download file.  Try downloading again and don't use a download manager.

Wow, Am I an idiot!  And I was wondering why .80 was a smaller file size then .78.

I do not use a download manager, but sometimes when I click on a radio link in my browser, MC's download manager appears but does not appear to actually do anything.
