Title: how can i change "listening to: xxxx" text

ive added the 'copy listening to' button into the toolbar, who can i change the default text, which currently is:

Listening to: 'Groundswell (Chugn Bump)' from 'Global Underground 005 - Tony DeVit in Tokyo (Disc 1)' by 'Dex' on Media Center 10

PlayingNow allows you to create your own customized text and assign it to a global hotkey so you can paste it straight into other applications.

thanks for getting back to me. i already use playing now: the next question is how do i set it up like that.

From the help file:

Paste
Pasting allows you to copy the current playing now track into an application.   This section defines the characteristics of this feature.

 

Setting:
 NumPastes
 
Description:
 This tells PlayingNow how many Paste sections you have.   PlayingNow will look at each Paste n section in turn to read the paste details.
 
Value Type:
 Number
 
Required:
 No ... the default is 0
 
Example:
 NumPastes=2
 

 

 

Example:

NumPastes=2

 

 

 

Paste N
This section defines the characteristic of an individual paste.

 

Setting:
 Hotkey
 
Description:
 What hotkey to use to activate the paste.
 
Value Type:
 Hotkey

 Hotkey=Win+F9
 

 

Setting:
 Tokens
 
Description:
 What to paste into your current application.
 
Value Type:
 PlayingNowString
 
Required:
 Yes
 
Example:

Example:

[Paste 1]

Hotkey=Win+F9

Tokens=/me is playing: <red><Name><purple>

 

[Paste 2]

Hotkey=Win+F10

Tokens=/me is playing: <Name> - <Album>

 

Default is :

/me is playing: 04Cluster One06 - 04Division Bell, The06  [Time: 5:58 | 524 kbps ape | 22.4 MB]


Your on your own for the rest.... I'm not that ....errr  Smart to figure it out. ;D

Just make a copy of the ini, if you make a mistake delete and copy the ini back...

It might as well be in a foreighn language to me...
