Title: V10 Media Type Icons
Post by: eszlinger on March 02, 2004, 03:05:22 pm
V10 has those 4 new media icons in the upper right-hand corner under the search box.
Does anybody know if the properties of those icons can be changed in order to change the target of which folder they go to?
I already have my Audio, Photo, and Video folders that I prefer to use, and would like for these icons to refer to them instead of the default views they come with.

Thanks,
Rob

You can customize the "Audio", "Image", and "Video" view schemes to be anything you like and to have any child view schemes you like.  You just can't change the name.

Matt,

Do these changes persist across new installations.  it seems like in the past if I changed the main VS, it would revert when I upgraded, which is about 3 times per week, so I stopped customizing, and started making new schemes.

They're part of the database, and shouldn't ever be changed by a point upgrades.

Please let us know if you ever see otherwise.
