Title: TV tuner country selection

I have a philips BT*** TV tuner card which apparently supports WDM, runnin on XP. When i try click 'watch' on Media Center, I get a box popping up asking to enter country and cable/antenna details. There are no countries listed in drop down box, so i can't select one.
I can't close the box without selecting one from the non-existant list.

so i gotto CTRL-ALT-DEL and shut MC down.

Please help, my wife is mad with no TV in the bedroom.

Do you have DirectX 9.0b installed? If yes, you need to install a hotfix from Microsoft. Do a search on this forum for 'Hotfix ' and 'DirectX 9.0b' you should find a couple of my recent posts where you can get a link to Microsoft's site.
