Title: Once you change the skin effect for a skin, you change it for all skins.Why?

I've got a problem with MC 9.1. Once you change the skin effect for a skin, you change it for all of the skins (all skins become for example 'old fashioned'). But I would like to have a skin with, for example, a 'negative' skin effect and another with an 'old fashioned' skin effect and so on.
Please could anyone help me?
