nice pictures, but they are too small

Just learning this web page stuff...did only one image show up? :-\ How do i make it bigger? My daughter uses Dreamweaver, and said that the program I was trying was awful (it's contained in the photo editing program Paint Shop). She offered to make my page, but what's the fun in that?! So, I'll keep trying until I get it right. :)

well you used the [ img] for the html when you should have used the [ url]
I just took the first picture and used the [ url] command
repost the html page but use the [ url] command "Insert hypertext"

What was the temp there?
Wish I was there........

Try MC. Select a few images and then right click. Send to /web. It has resizing options.
With your normal login and password,
for address, try:
members.shaw.ca
and for path:
2003/hawaii
You might have to shorten that to:
hawaii
A limitation of our current implementation is that it will only create one level of new directories. So if hawaii doesn't exist, it won't create 2003.

Thanks! I'll get this right sooner or later! :)

Really fine pictures! Thanks.

Thanks for all the help on getting these up...kailua-kona is one of our favorite spots. the temp is usually around 28 celcius. We were getting the hang of a digital camera.

We were getting the hang of a digital camera.
If you keep the pictures to around 1280x1024 or larger direct from the camera they would make some nice backgrounds for the desktop.
-
Great, will try to remeber that as we will be on our way back to the islands in a couple of weeks and will be going to Alaska this summer. If we get some good shots, I'll post them. Again, thanks for all the help, both on the pics and the nomad! B ;D

Beautiful shots, bebop. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, the rocks are too dark, and it's a pretty small pic, but the sky and particularly the water look amazing.

Yeah, those rocks are dark, but concidering that they are black lava with just a bit of rusty oxidation, it could have been worse. Hubby was trying out his new toy - a digital Nikon 5 megapixel something or other...he's the photography buff...I'm a point and shoot type. The camera was his stepping stone into this century... then we bought him a laptop and now he's even figured out e-mail and networking. He was so computer phobic before, and now he understands!! Now that he has the camera all figured out, there should be some great shots coming up after we get back from vacation. As for me, well...I am trying to figure out this web page thing. Trying Dreamweaver, which both my son (he's in tech school doing gaming and design) and my daughter (she does graphic design and photography) say is a snap! So far, nothing seems to be snapping....ah well...I'll just keep at it. :-\
