It seems that a lot has been done to improve handheld support recently. Unfortunately my personal handheld is not supported yet.
True, my handheld is somewhat different than Ipods, Archos etc., it is an Acer Ferrari 3000 notebook with an AMD Athlon 2500+, 512MB RAM, 60GB disk, running Windows XP Home and MC10. When I attach external speakers it really produces great sound and with a beamer attached great images on the wall.
As it hosts only a subset of my complete audio/image/video collection, it would be really nice to keep my host pc and my notebook in sync. Of course I can use external tools for that, but it would be nice to have it integrated in MC10. Just consider a notebook as the standard MC handheld.

Jaguu,
When connected to your PC, does it appear as a fixed or removable drive? If so, you should be able to use it with the built in Portable plugin. If not try turning on the WMDM support (Tools->Options->Devices, Enable support for WMDM Devices) and see if it is recognized.

Treating network computers / drives like handhelds is something we're thinking about for MC 10.1. It'd be nice to be able to synchronize your library to any computer or hard disk.

Yes it would!
