Im not interested in a discussion about who is responsible.
I get the train to work every day. I live in a city that has seen its share of terrorist attacks.
My thoughts are with Madrileños tonight.
-
It makes for terrible reading.
I have just watched a program about "Our Daughter Holly" - The Story of the parents of a young girl murdered in England.
Very sad.
What an awful world we live in!
My heart is with all of the victims of violence and terrorism in this world.

We send our sympathy and best wishes to Spain.
Let's hope we can find a way to discuss and resolve the problems that divide us.

for those who don't know
MADRID, Spain — Al Qaeda has reportedly claimed responsibility for a series of bombings in Madrid Thursday that left at least 190 people dead and 1,240 wounded.

They were morons first.
Funny, but they think the same about us.
I remember the sister who didn't like me. Dummy. No you're the dummy. You're a bigger dummy. She still believes. She's probably right.

It does seem childish to keep killing people for no reason.
zevele I do feel for you and your people but your country also needs to share some of the blame.

When I lived in Spain, I too took the train everyday. I think 80-90 percent of the people there are frequent riders. The attack hits a lot closer to home than it might sound to people who drive everywhere.

We all have a part.
Hatred breaks out like the measles or mumps. It has no logic sometimes.

This has gone too far. The terrorist are going to provoke a worldwide reaction, and that cannot be good. I'm Spanish, BTW.

There is so much violence in this world...I recall a time when those of us who wanted to promote peace were called "hippies", "freaks", "unpatriotic" "do-gooders" and on and on. Does Ohio State ring any bells - four dead protesting in the name of peace? Any one recall the Peace marches, sit in's? We had such high hopes for this generation and, yes, I am still hoping. My depest sympathies to all victims of violence everywhere.
-
Just to drop a line to thank you all for your support and sympathy.

King.
zevele I do feel for you and your people but your country also needs to share some of the blame.
Anyone can get some blame.
spain as well.
To not have done what ETA wanted - If it is ETa.
To be part of the alliance who supported war
To have troups in Irak
and so on.
Just a matter of the side of the fence you stand.
Now , reading it , you do it from 'here' for you.
But your 'here' is 'there' for me.
And 'here' for me is 'there' for you.
Anyway ,sad ,sad.
Once again my throughts to all spanish people.
