Title: Palm Tungsten T3 download
Post by: jolo on March 12, 2004, 01:53:42 am
? Is there a plug in something that will allow MC to upload MP3s directly to a Palm Tungsten T3's SD flash ?

I am using the free version of Real Player which seems to do fine, but I would like to put my version of LAME into Real player, with my custom string and upload directly to my T3.

Is it possible ?

Thanks,

Jon

I use SD cards in a Treo 600 (http://www.handspring.com/products/communicators/treo600_overview.jhtml) Palm phone. I play the tunes and Shoutcast streams with PocketTunes.

I have a cheap (maybe  20 bucks?) card reader/writer that can handle pretty much any type of flash media. I just pop cards out of the phone, stick them in the card writer, and update them as I would any other removable drive.

The phone can act as a removable drive too, but transfers seem to go faster when I use the card device.

The Treo 600 runs Palm 5.2.1.

I haven't replied to this in a long time.

First, I use and love PocketTunes Deluxe, and use my Tungsten T3 as my portable audio player. I usually pass .ogg files into it.

I also use, one of my favorite pieces of software, Card Export II to transfer my files back and forth.

BUT ....I would still like the luxury of having MC allow for exporting to Palm devices.
