When I pause MC then start another audio source the sound output is distorted. I have this with MC set both direct sound and wave output, ASIO does not exhibit this but ASIO does not work with the digital output of my Maudio revo 7.1.
This is not a driver issue as it does not occur with other software. It seem's MC is sending data to the driver when paused.

turn off all in DSP studio
My speakers were sent to me by JimH ($3.99 each) and they have problems, but so does my suround sound speaker system.
I normaly leave all the DSP options off (all but EQ) and it works fine once i turn on the other options in the DSP it sounds distorted. I think that has more to do with my sound card however and the way the DSP works with it.
but i also have not tested it in the past few months.

OK, thanks for the tip. I narrowed it down to the fact that I had the bit depth set to 24 under output format. Setting to source or 16 stopped the issue.
Is there any chance this can be fixed or is it a by product of the process? Why does it not affect ASIO?

How's the garden going?
I found a couple pictures of my grandfather and his tomatoes.

They must be from about 1960.

The cheap ones might have done a better job. Live and learn.

That doesn't necessarily mean that it isn't a driver issue. It may mean just that the driver was debugged with the other software.
Try changing other playback options in MC.
