Hi,

Yep, using it here. Also known as marmitek and shipped with the ATI video cards, this remote works nicely with MC through Girder.  http://www.girder.nl/

The one I got has both RF control (useful if your PC is not in the same room) and IR control for existing hardware.

Quite happy with it.

hope this helps !

C.

Cmagic,

Can each button be sent via rf and caught by girder and be unique for the different devices?

The reason I ask is that I would like to have a remote with atleast five devices and use each device to control a diferent zone within MC over RF.

Thanks Davie

This remote (HTR, UR86A) is a little bit different from the ATI model.

It only sends signals via RF when the PC device is selected. The TV, VCR, CBL, AUX and X10 keys switch you to IR mode (and you'd need an IR receiver on your PC to make sense of the signals sent afterwards).

You will also see that a couple of keys send the same signal (PC and D, I believe..)
