1. NEW: Added 'Aggressive Reset' option to Wave Out playback settings. (enable if you hear bursts of sound when starting playback)
I've been using ASIO and that is where I have the problem with leftover bursts of sound, before loading this release, I switched to Wave Out and the problem was not there, it's only when I use ASIO.
Loaded the new release and WaveOut is still good, even without the new option checked, ASIO is still bad.

The download manager is still popping up when clicking on WMA (ASX) streams.
I can't associate ASX files with WMP since I have uninstalled WMP long time ago.
In the past the MC streamed WMA files just fine without the download manager opening up.
Can we, please, have an option to disable the Download manager. I would rather not instal it at all since I don't see any use for it.
Thanks,
Mike

A small suggestion for the listing of changes in a new beta version.
Is it possible to group the changes in:
Fixed - Changed - New
Makes reading easier, especially if you are looking for a fix and don't want to install every beta.

Hi,
On restoration of minimized Download Manager from XP Task Bar, the pop up window for "already existing file" is not restored. May be it is, but not in front the main DM window. Thus there is no way to reach it without leaving Download Manager.
Rather dispointing ?

11. Fixed: Occasionally, DM was crashing after displaying "Shell Windows interface is not available".
Still getting this msg when DM starts, but now the exception doesn't occur until closing DM.
FWIW, I am running .NET Framework 2.0 (PD2) if that matters.
Anything else I can provide?

when you change fonts several times, mc doesn't redraw properly.
when you select a different font you have to restart or else all you'll see
are big blotches especially when you are split view. this could be consider
a bug. the artist(s) names and album names are unreadable at the top.

Just noticed, I'm getting a runtime exception when starting the CD Labeler. First time I've used it in a few builds.
Anyone else seeing this? I'm starting to think it might be my machine setup...

10. Changed: Shuffle option added to right-click menu when viewing CD burn file list.
Woo-hoo!! Thank you very much!
14. NEW: Added option to use Window Media Player engine for video playback. (Options > Playback > Video)
What would be the purpose to doing this?

Well after not getting any attention about the ill exit issue, I decided to make a fill reinstall.
uninstalled all and even ran norton windoctor, to avoid any registry stary keys.
I've reinstalled and was about to import the library I backed up. then MC asks to convert it to MC 10 format. (?). strange . I click NO. MC crashes:
( had to say YES o/w it won't load)
(take your time...... loading 5279 songs...... 2455......should make a cup of tea...hmm...whats on tv.......5129... ok)

Well as I posted I have just reinstalled.
I added 5 songs by choosing them and right-clicking play.
they play. I click stop. I click play. I see "buffering" and no sound. nada.
If I quit. MC stays in the task manager.

When using a 'wizard' to create a smart playlist, the global option of ignoring articles (a, the...) is NOT followed. Is this by design or in need of a fix?
Thanks - Tim

Last couple Builds have been unstable with my system and crashed, I'm on XP. Not sure if it's just me

Regular visualizations are now REALLLLLLY slow. Skipped versions from like 89 to 93, so I'm not sure how long it's been like this.
I'm afraid to try any other display options right now. Just want to listen to some tunes :-) .
