Title: True Launch Bar

I've just discovered the cool Quick Launch replacement, True Launch Bar. There is a downloadable plug-in for this that adds tiny media player controls compatible with Winamp and WMP.

Anyone fancy investigating how to extend this to MC?

That's kinda neat... However you can do most of the functions from the Playing Now plugin.

True, but it would still be a nice alternative, and would probably even complement Playing Now because the toolbar could be made always-visible while Playing Now just pops up during song transitions.

I would expect that adding MC compatibility to the plug-in might be a quick and simple exercise for anyone with some experience of MCs programmer's interface (not me!).
