Title: Purchasing MC for a friend

Last night I showed a group of friends MC, and they were all particularly impressed.
One of them wants to buy MC10, but doesn't have a credit card. I said he could use mine, but then the name that it would be registered to would be my name, instead of his (as it's my name on the card). Even though it would be registered to his email address, he would still prefer his name on the registration.
Is there any way to resolve this?

I notice now that the purchase form has changed since I purchased MC.
Is the name field validated against the credit card?
