Title: Images don't seem to update 'Last Played' field

I have a smartlist that is supposed to select images that have a 'Last Played' value of over 15724800 (which is 1/2 a year).  I want to randomly play images I hae not seen in a while in an automated slide show.  The porblem is that none of my images seem to have any info in the 'Last Played' field.  So it doesn't work.  Is this field supposed to be updating when images play?

At first I thought it wasn't updating because I was just r-clicking on the smartlist and sending to 'Play', but even when I double click on an image to force just that image to play, it still does not update the field.  Can this be fixed?
