Title: Lost CD rips

I'm using MC 9.1, and just realized some CDs that I ripped are no longer showing up in the media list. I've searched the archives, and can't find any info on this. Can anyone help me out? Do I have to rerip my CDs? I'm sure I'm not filtering my results. Thanks.

Do you have media mode (icons top right) set to all or audio?

Try Ctrl + F and type part of the artist or album name.  This will search your whole library so will instantly rule out the fact that you are filtering results.

also make sure you can find them from inside MC, bu using the my computer function. if you cant you may have deleted them, if you can see them try to reimport that folder and see what happens

The files were still on the computer, but for some reason they were no longer in the MC library. Why do files get forgotten in the library? I reimported them, but would like to know if there is some way to keep this from happening.

they dont ... maybe you moved the files from windows explorer (MC cant track that, best to move the files from inside mc) ... or ... maybe you 'accidentally' deleted them???
