Hi.
I have been experiencing a curious problem when I try to listen to mp3 song samples on eMusic. I have MC set as the default player for mp3 file types, so when I click on the sample the music start playing in Media Center. Right as the sample is about to finish, though, Media Center freezes and the cpu utilization goes up to 100%. I have to kill the process to regain control of the machine. This was happening with both MC 9 and 9.1, and it is still hapenning with v. 10, as of build 97. If I hit Stop before the sample hits 25 seconds or so, MC doesn't hang.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
I am using XP Pro, SP1. 521MB of RAM, 1.2 GHz Mobile Pentium 3.

I see similar behavior on XP Home SP1, 800MHz Athlon with recent MC 10 builds. It gets v---e---r---y slow to respond. I can sometimes click to play a different file and get MC back to normal. Other times it crashes when I do this. This sounds like the problem from the thread http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?board=3;action=display;threadid=17188 (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?board=3;action=display;threadid=17188).
