Title: DVD surround sound modes
Post by: pipsqueak on March 26, 2004, 09:45:57 am
everytime i watch a dvd i have to reselect the number of channels the audio comes out in via the intervideo selection screen. is there a way that the program will remember my settings, as it surrently reverts to 2 channel each time.

I had this trouble with the SPDIF output. I seem to remember that it's to do with the version of WinDVD you have. 4.0 works but others don't

i have v4 and 5. will roll it back and see if there's a difference with the JRSS.

However, i thought that to get DVD playback in 5.1 MC needed winDVD 5.

That I don't know. I don't use MC for DVD playback, only for DivX and music.
