Title: cue files implemented yet?
Post by: soren on March 26, 2004, 04:08:52 pm

I have quite a few records stored as one big APE file. The file is described in a CUE file.

Is this supposed to work yet?
It doesn't for me!
Is there some setting you must enable for MC to dig into the cue file for the info?

It would be great if it could split a big .ape or .wav from the .cue.

Later.

For now, make APL files with MakeAPL (part of Monkey's Audio) and import them instead of the APE file.

A coming version of MC should have native CUE / any file support.

Is there an echo in here?  Or, is that just deja vu I smell?

Well I've used APL files, but why on earth can't the cue file be used in the same way? It holds the same references!

The problem is that you get both the ape and the apl files when you import (and no .. I cant set a filter not to import ape because I have single apes as well)...
