Title: Album rating how/possible?

Is it possible to have a rating on the album itself?
I cant seem to find any .. just on the individual tracks.

Create a custom field and use it for album ratings. You can then add it as a column in your track view. It won't have the visual ratings like the track rating, though.

Is there any reason why this feature couldn't be added?  I'd like to see a  data type that would turn a custom field into a visual rating field, like the default one.

A star rating isn't enough (for me anyways).

I avg the track ratings to get a album score. I wanted this to be automated but turns out there are performance issues on calculating this. So i did it manually, took a long time but its done now and am quite pleased with it.

Makes it easy to get the good albums and trash the bad ones.

Have to remind myself to update the ratings whenever i promote/demote tracks tho.

This can be easily done via a plugin, but that path did not lead anywhere so far.
