I had installed the 9.0 version of your MJ Product, and sincerely, I encoutered that a BUG.
I´m using Windows 98, and I´m a buyer of MJ 7.0 and this licensed version functions well, but when I Install the MJ 9.0 I have the following Problems:
1. The program falls after few minutes of use. (When I open the menu the program fails, and it closes.)
2. When I try to reInstall, and use my current version of MJ, I see that message:
"You are attempting to open a database that is too new for this version of Media Jukebox. Please upgrade to the newest version of Media Jukebox. And I can not access the application. (What is the newest version do to my Media Files?)
3. When I try to Load a Backup of the Library of the previous version, this no charges well.
I'm so sad, because the Product was working well until the installation of this version.
I'm not longer interested in the product upgrade, and I want to continue using my Licensed version.
Thank you for your Help.

If you have a version 7 license it will work with version 8, but you will lose your playlists and you will need to reimport your files.
Backup your rrg license file to a floppy.
Download 8 from our downloads page.
Uninstall version 9 and ask for MJ to remove the registry settings.
Delete the jmd files in the Program Files/JRiver/Media Jukebox/data directory.
Reboot
Reinstall version 8.
Copy the old version 7 data from the backup folder 9 made in the data folder above.
