I 'am thinking hours ,within 24
-
I'm thinking days....about 1

Graydog,
You mean you didn't vote in your own poll? I see zero votes for "hours".
Guess which vote is mine. I've been here a long time and have heard "imminent release" a few times already. I'm not criticizing, I'm complimenting. "No release before it's time" is a great way to do things. This ain't Microsoft.

I knew I forgot somthing ;D

Who cares?
It'll come out of the oven when it's baked, that's all we need to know.
Unlike some other software vendors, who's product often leaves the premises half-baked...

I Agree.

Why do we get so excited about official releases of MC ? - the first new beta after the official release will probably be better with some bug fixes.
-
i reckon a day or so. the product is ready. its all down to the integration with the media download software...

I agree. One of the best things (IMHO) about MC is that if you don't like something or if something is broken, wait a day and get the new beta or service release. I seriously never have seen a software company that works so hard.
It amazes me constantly. Thank you!

Thanks. It helps us a lot to have problems reported immediately. I think it makes our development process faster and more accurate.
It looks like build 106 will be our release.
Thanks to everyone for their help.

Here's some v10 'fun facts' based on each build released:
68 New Features
470 Fixes
288 Changes
-----
826 Total
Out of the 106 builds; 18 of them were not released to the public (excluding the first 7) and 2 were pulled due to major problems.
The most number of changes per build goes to 10.0.83 (3/03/04) with 24.
v10 started after 9.1.315 (12/03/03) and there were 8 days with more than one build: 12/04/03, 12/19/03, 1/7/03, 1/14/03, 1/27/04, 2/12/04, 3/09/04, and 3/11/04.
Largest build (file size) was 10.0.100 (3/26/04)(18.0MB) and the smallest was 10.0.13 (12/10/03) (13.9MB)
If you tried every build released, you've then downloaded 1.17GB of data.

Does that mean we will see the missing third soon?

I could be mistaken... but from what JimH has said in the past.... I think they'll release without showing the "missing third". It sounds like they have to wait for the other people involved in that missing third to be ready before they can show it.
Of course... correct me if I'm wrong...

Dave,
you have too much time on your hands. be careful.
Jim
Thanks for the stats.
