I noticed an issue when I am viewing a view scheme in Standard View, and have it set to display thumbnails or album thumbnails. When I select a thumbnail, and then try to use the arrow keys to move the selection, the right arrow key will only move to the second column of thumbnails. The up/down works OK, but left and right will only cycle through the first two columns, even though 5 columns of thumbnails are visible. The only way to select the other columns seem to be to use the mouse.
Sometimes I'm using a remote keyboard or remote control and don't necessarily have easy access to a mouse for moving around the thumbnails.
Is this the way it's supposed to work, or are there any other ways of moving the selection in Standard View?
Thanks,

It seems as if it may be related to moving as if there were a scroll bar, as would often appear in details view. When you hit the right arrow in details view, it scrolls to the right. In Thumbnail mode, there are no scrollbars, so perhaps that's why it will only go one thumbnail to the right??

just tried it, works fine here.
using standard view, album thumbnails. the arrows allow me to move in all 4 directions no problems...

Hmmm...it's definitely not going past the 2nd column on my end. Can anyone else reproduce this? I tried various Thumbnail options (size, spacing, show text)...same behavior each time.

I reported this last year. It's one of the reasons I don't use MC for images.

There is a bug with the Windows common controls with custom sized, owner draw, virtual data list controls.
Windows XP has fixed the problem. We're not aware of a fix for older operating systems.

OK...I'm on Win 2k Professional, so perhaps that explains the difference.
