Irregardless, Andy deserves mucho kudo's!
It has improved MC greatly in my book, and may bring MC some notariety being listed on his site as one of the programs that can use G-Force.

To whoever looked at the screenshots and wasn't interested. I don't think the screen shots even begin to start to sort of kinda give any real impression of how good the visualization are. If you like visualizations at all, you might want to give it a try. It is truly amazing! It just flows from one cool effect to the next, again & again & again.
It's free to try.
Guess how I voted ::)

What's the difference between the free and the paid-for versions? Installed it, and it's OK, but... meh.

Madcow,
take a look at

Doesn't sound like there's much difference between the versions - given how I would use it, anyway.

"I am legally blind and will wait for the braille version."
I find this a totally unnecessary item as it adds nothing to the poll - Just be grateful that you have something wonderful that millions like me don’t.

I've been a GOLD member for a few years now...
I'm an old time winamp junkie. The only reason i switched to MC was my music collection go so large that winamp is to slow. ( And this was 2 years ago i compeletly switched to MC.)

Good stuff! Been waiting for this for a while now!
Only problem, and it's not really G-Force's doing, but when MC is minimized it still renders the visualisation, which ties up lots of CPU cycles - at least on my machine :D
Any chance of the next version of MC not rendering the visualisation when it's not actually visible? As far as I can tell it even renders it while you're browsing your library, etc.
Thanks,
Scott.
ps... Not quite drooling, but stoked none the less :)

I agree, David. When I saw it, I tried to edit it, but couldn't remove without affecting results. I'll change it. On behalf of the forum, I apologize.

It'a allright I guess... I am not into the whole vis thing...
However I believe cudos goes to the auther! ;D
-
i AM sooo into the whole vis thing. think its fantastic, plan to get the gold version asap.
spent far too much time on saturday night after stubling in from the pub staring at the screen...
not too sure how it helps MC's cause though, given that it supports many other players...
either way i think its fantastic and hope to see clubs / bars adopting it soon.

I installed it on my main home PC (PIII 1GHz) and I'm wondering what the combined system requirements might be. Should it run well on a PIII 450?

It runs fine for me on a PIII at 533MHz - HOWEVER you should reduce the screen resolution. G-Force will use the resolution you set in MC's Configure Display dialog (it will ignore its own resolution commands when running under MC). I find that using 640x480 allows G-Force to run at 32fps on my old PIII.

You know it's alright sorta reminds me of I-tunes. listening to Alice Cooper the ballad of Dwight Fry

My sincere apologies, no offense was meant. Once again my sense of humor was politically incorrect and a bit over the edge.
Having close friends who often deal with their disabilities with humor (twisted or otherwise) has somewhat desensitized me. Again I apologize for my insensitivity and poor attempt at humor, as well as for having caused any one to be insulted or disturbed by my lack of good taste.
