I'm having problems trying to play streaming audio via File / Open URL. When I select the URL (it's worked ok in the past) I get the warning "Please select file(s) to play". The last change I made was installing G-Force Gold, but it was ok immediately after the install. I'm sure I've done something stupid, but I've no idea what.

Anyone? If I try to play RadioParadise via its URL or via web media it gives me the error - if I access it via an old Winamp playlist it's fine!

Can you post the specific URL so that it can be tested?
-
It seems to be any url, but this one's an example - http://www.radioparadise.com/musiclinks/rp_128.m3u

Clicked on your link...FireFox responded with "Open with...MediaJukebox (default)"...did so...MC played the stream (tried it with MC closed...same result). Build 112 installed. Not sure what's up on yours, Ian.

edit: Great station BTW...has an international (read world music) flavor...

Thanks for trying it! I had the problem with 111, it's still there with 112.

Unfortunately I can't help you. The only thing I can say that I have no problem playing Radio Paradise. It's a long time favourite of me too. Great music !!
I opened it once from their website (did you click on the right link for mp3 player I think it's called) and made a playlist of it in Playlist Group Radio. I can play it every time from there.
Btw I still have 10.0.111 with also G-Force installed (standard not gold)

How did you do that? I've imported the original Winamp playlist that points to RP, but it gives me the "Please select file(s) to play" error. Double click the same playlist outside MC and it's fine!

Got it! It looks like the problem was caused by a corrupt library - I cleared the old one, restored from a backup and it now works fine.

Once you get it running, you'll see RP in Playing Now folder. From there you would select the entry and right click>Send To>Playlist>RadioParadise
The entry title won't make too much sense which is why I created a playlist called RadioParadise and sent it there.

PS: Your up?..That's cool!
