Hello there!
What about those two little enhancement to the search bar:
1. Ctrl+Enter (or any other shortcut) to ADD the search's result to "Playing Now"; that would be VERY convenient
2. Have search be accent-insensitive (i.e. e=é=è=ê=ë=..., a=à=â=...); that would be great for the non-english titles/users
Please !
Thank you ;-)

I'd really like accent insensitive searching too. I've got lots of Spanish music which I can't find by searching because the tags have accents in them.

accent insensitive = great idea
ive been forced to do find and replace with all the accented letters to avoid this problem, but would much rather have the track details accurate
-
Both are good suggestions. Thanks.

Both would be great - especially the accent insensitive search. Would be really useful.

Thank you guys for your very positive feedback !
I'll be looking forward to seeing those two little enhancements appear in MC soon ;-)
PS: some database implements the 'accent-insensitive' stuff through a clever 'to_ascii' function (bringing all character codes above 127 within the ASCII [non-accented] range). Just my 1-penny clue ...
Cheers !

Very nice suggestion Ce.D. I too would really like to see #2 implemented.
Thanks in advance Jimh,

#2 is in tonight's build.

Thank you very much Matt !
...huh...
And do you think # 1 will be possible (I would think it is a very minor tweak to the search bar) ?
;D

#2 works flawlessly as far as I've tested.
Thanks again
