Can someone answer this?
When I burn a cd, the text shows up when I play the cd in media center.
But when I play the same cd with Windows media player, the info just says "unknown album" and it just lists the track number, but not the name of the song or album.
Thanks,
Lou

That's because WMP doesn't use CD Text - it's not a fault with MC. That was one of the things that stopped me using WMP for CD's.
Stick with MC - it sounds better too :D

Why would a cd that a friend burned for me show the text with Windows media player? Not sure what program he uses. Just curious............... ? :-\

Are you sure that WMP got the info from the CD-Text on the disc and not from online?
