Title: MC 9.1.317 Crashes on particular MP3s

When trying to playback a particular mp3 file Media Center crashes out completely.  The file is a large (2 hours plus) mp3 file at 64K 44.1KHz playing back through an EWS88 using the ASIO driver.
Other files play OK.....any suggestions ?

PS - OS is XP

Try wav out or direct sound instead of asio -- just to see if it's the driver.

If that's it, there is another asio driver people have had success with.  It was mentioned in the last week here.  A search should find it.

Yep - that'll be it then  :)  Changed to Direct Sound and it plays fine.  Thanks for that....I'll try the new ASIO driver.
