Title: Two questions: Goldenhawk and USB
Post by: lclontz on October 24, 2002, 12:40:47 pm
Hey, folks -

1. Is there any chance of putting the Goldenhawk 3.9b drivers into the next build of Media Jukebox 8 so those of us with 48x Cendynes (and, I presume, other recent drives) can get full support with MJB? The drive I'm looking for is the rebranded Lite-On LTR-48125S. I bought that drive b/c it was on Goldenhawk's list, but I gets no love in MJB. Version 9 still seems a ways off, so it'd be great if that could be done.

2. Secondly, what's MJB's support for USB CD-RWs these days? I used to have a Sony Spressa that was supported, but when I put a supported TDK VeloCD into a USB 2.0 enclosure, MJB wouldn't see it as a CD-RW even though Windows does. Is that not supported?

Thanks!
- Lee

New version of CDWriter will be available tomorrow evening (10/25). Use check for updates to download it. New version will include latest build of Goldenhawk library.

Hey, just to bump this message back up... any word on when that CD burning update will be available?

Also, any word on USB 2.0 CD-RWs and what support there is in MJB?

Thanks!

It's been a couple of weeks, so I'm bumping this back up... any chance of getting the new CD-RW drivers package released for MJB8, per Nickolay?

Thanks,
- Lee
