Title: Converting APE to mp3 on the fly when burning CD
Post by: escaflo on April 21, 2004, 11:16:46 pm
Is it possible to have settings in MC to set that whenever I want to burn a Data CD, its possible for me to convert the APE to some standard mp3 format on the fly (or just do the converting for me automatically). Currently, if I want to burn a data cd that contains only mp3, I have to convert the APE to mp3 then drag the converted file to the Burn Cd dialog.

Also, I am having problem converting some APE files to mp3 especially those with Chinese (Traditional) Encoding in their filename.

Thanks

I have been interested to know if this is possible as my portable can only play mp3.
I don't think it is and am not sure it would be a popular feature request. Unless there are more people....

I had a thread on this last week.  Answer: it will be implemented.  I got the feeling it was somewhere in between "soon" and "in v11".
